Melanie is eager to get the boosters more recognition and support from the AEB community (because these kids deserve the world) but being mom to junior synth, tuba, and front ensemble student Logan, is where her heart lies. Her “real” job as an event planner and finding new band parent friends makes this a perfect fit!

 Amy Creed is mom to percussion player Natalie and enjoys cheering on & supporting her daughter and the AEB family. Mother of two adult kids with only one left in the nest, she believes you will never regret making great memories with your high schooler! Her advice to band families: find a way to be involved, so you can celebrate with your teen as they learn, perform and see results of growth!

Carin is the proud Mom to Jack, a Jr trombone player. AEB is a family event, as you can also find her Husband Jeff helping on the side lines as Pit Crew & occasionally helps drive one of the equipment trucks. Joining the board was a no brainer, this has been a great way to stay involved and have fun with some amazing families that make up Akins Eagle Band!
